I have been looking for the right fittiing jeans for my pear shaped figure..If the thigh fits then the waist is too loose..Finally I found this perfect fit jeans ..very comfortable, gives an immediate slimming effect,material is nice and soft, and above all.. my postpartum tummy disappears totally when I wear it..I am very very Pleased with this jeans!!!

these jeans fit great! room in the hips, waist doesn't gap. The only problem I have is they are too long for me - at 5'4'' they are about 2 - 3 inches too long. But they are so comfortable, I don't mind the length.

I LOVE these jeans! Since I am no longer a skinny teenager, I was having trouble finding jeans that fit, flattered and were COMFORTABLE. These really filled the bill. I have 3 pair of regular length for wearing with flats and 2 longer length pairs to wear with heels. I hope Levi's never stops making them. Just wish them came in more colors.

These 512's are the first jeans that I have truly enjoyed wearing in over a decade, maybe two. I also ran into the problem with sizing that others have commented on, I wore one size if the pair was made in China, another size if they were made in Macau. Not wanting to see these jeans discontinued, in September 2008 I wrote to Mark Breitbart (President, Levi's Retail) at Levi's about the problem and did receive a call from Shawn in Customer Relations, this was in November 2008. I did tell her of the problem r/t sizing and placed another call today (she told me to call back with any further problems) to follow-up and to also let her know about the comments here. I would encourage anyone who likes these jeans to do the same, the address/phone information can be found online. I would really like to see them continue to make these; they are comfortable and fit perfectly. . .when you find that pair that fits.

These were just delivered to my door step a few minutes ago. I don't think I've ever been so relieved after trying on a pair of jeans! I'm the person who dreads trying jeans on because it's so rare to have a pair fit me! Usually they're too tight around the thighs or too tight around the waist, too long and too low-rise and it's just a disaster and so depressing. I'm telling you, the minute I tried them on, I was in disbelief. They fit perfectly. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to finally be able to put on a pair of jeans and feel comfortable in them! I was worried before they arrived, that they would be too straight in the leg. I like a bit of a flare. I think a bit of a flare helps detract from my larger thighs. These have a perfect amount of flare! And I love the fact that they cover just enough of my belly to hide the postpartum muffin top and extra belly I've acquired--super great! I am 5'4" and I ordered them in "short". I would say they are perfect because they are just a tad long, but not too long that I couldn't wear them with flat shoes, and yet they are perfect with heels as well. They have just enough stretch to move with you so that you don't feel constricted at all. I ordered the "shadow blue" and they are a dark wash but I really like them. I think I"ll order a pair in the medium indigo as well. Also, the ones I received are made in Pakistan, just in case anyone wonders. If you are in the valley of indecision, I would say, you really just need to go ahead and order yourself a pair! I apologize for the long review, but maybe someone else will be as happy as I am!
2 days later...my review may have been a bit premature. I still love the jeans, but found that after wearing them for an afternoon, they stretched so much that I was able to pull them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them! They became a bit baggy on me. I like them so much though, that I'm returning them and ordering a size smaller. Check back to see how THOSE fit!
